• Edinburgh Instruments FLS-1000 fluorescence spectrophotometer for phosphorescence decay measurements at 10 µs resolution. Excitation source is a microsecond flashlamp: optical pulses of 1.5–2.5 µs, repetition rate 0.1 Hz-100 Hz. Festia, BNM/Essi
• Femtosecond transient absorption (pump-probe) with 100 fs time resolution. Coherent Inc. Libra F with Vitesse seed and Evolution 15/30 amplifier lasers with Light Conversion TOPAS-C OPA with output range 240–2600 nm. • Bruker Invenio-R FTIR spectrometer with rapid scan option for >70 spectra/s at spectral resolution 16 cm-1, and step/slow scan option for temporal resolved spectroscopy down to 6 µs resolution. External trigger option for the scan. Red Labs, SPM/Suvi
• Fluorescence lifetime imaging microscope MicroTime 200 (PicoQuant) with inverted microscope IX 73 from Olympus with custom made incubator. Computer controlled 2-dimensional piezo objective scanning with maximum 80 μm x 80 μm scan range at nominal 1 nm positioning accuracy. Detectors are Hybrid-Photomultiplier Tubes (PMA Hybrid Series), Instrument response typ. 120 ps (FWHM) in 300–720 nm range. Data acquisition is based on Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC) in Time-Tagged Time Resolved (TTTR) mode. Simultaneous data acquisition of two detection channels.
