When website visitors leave comments on site’s contact forms, we collect the information written on the form, visitor’s IP address and browser version data for better identifying spam messages.
Anonymized hash from email address can be sent to Gravatar Service in order to verify that the sender of the message is user of the service. Privacy Notice of Gravatar service can be found at https://automatic.com/privacy/.
Media
If you download images to this website, you are advised not to download such images that contain saved location (EXIF GPS). Visitors of the website may download and watch location information from the images that are downloaded on the page.
Cookies
If you leave a comment or message on the website, you may choose the name, email and url-address saving on a cookie. This function addes user friedliness, since you don’t need to fill in the form again on your next visit to the page. The cookie data will be deleted from the browser after a year.
If you have an account and you signed in to the website, we will set a temporary cookie, which determines whether your browser supports cookies or not. This cookie does not include any personal information and it will be deleted once the browser is closed.
When signing in we set several cookies, that save your sign in and browser data. Sign in cookies will be deleted within two days, browser data cookies will be deleted after a year. If you choose “Remember me” when signing in, your sign in data will be saved for two weeks. If you sign out, all sign in data cookies will be deleted at the same time.

Administrative data
Administrative data. The administrative data is the information that the FinnLight infrastructure collects from its operations (see Table 1). It contains data about routine activities such as users, communications, surveys, and is used to evaluate how well the infrastructure is achieving its goals stated in the Action plan. In addition, a joint privacy notice will be created on Finnlight’s website: finnlight.fi/privacynotice, which tells about the processing of users’ personal data in this research
infrastructure.
How long your data is saved
If you leave a request, data of your comment and its meta data will be save for now. This is done for identifying and accepting your next comments automatically.
We store the data of those visitors that have contacted us through the website. All visitors have a right to see, edit and delete their own personal data any time. The only exception is User Name that cannot be changed. Content managers can see and edit user profile data.
What rights you have on your own data
If you have a user account on this website, or you have sent a request through the website, you may ask for a complilation data of your own personal data, including all the personal data you have provided us. You may also ask for deletion of your personal data. The right for deleting the data does not include such personal data that we need to store due to maintenance, juridical or data security reasons.

Comments of website visitors may be checked via automatized spam mail service.
