Oscilloscopes & network analyzers
Signal generators, BERT and pattern generators
Finnlight has various high-speed oscilloscopes coupled with high speed photodetectors for testing fast light transient phenomena. The devices also include optical signal generating modules for telecom testing, i.e. bit-error rate testers (BERT), pulse pattern generators and network analyzers.
Utilizing dispersive optical fibers single-shot spectral measurements can be performed at MHz repetition rates by utilizing the time-stretch dispersive Fourier transform technique ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_stretch_dispersive_Fourier_transform ).
